Straylands Day Nursery provides a ‘happy and stimulating’ environment where children will progress and develop to the best of their abilities. One of our main assets is having a smaller group, we limit ourselves to 22 children per day, which enables us to provide more personal attention, promote confidence and offer parents and children the very best in child care and education.
Straylands Day Nursery is registered by OFSTED and care for children from 0 to 5 years.

We cater for allergies, cultures and family choices
We offer specialised menus for babies to offer them the experience of a variety of tastes and textures during their first year of life.The menus we use are tried and tested to ensure the children enjoy the dishes we serve

We have many pets and encourage the children to feed and look after the animals on a daily basis, to learn about care and responsibility.

We have a large, soft play surfaced, outside area, including a separate baby area, at the back of the nursery consisting of a variety of outdoor equipment and resources. We offer free flow play at Straylands Day Nursery where the children can access the garden for most of the day and choose to play inside or outside.
